Have you always wanted to be a part of Queen City Roller Girls, but might not be ready to whack people around on skates? Jump into the middle of the action as a Non-Skating Official!
Queen City Roller Girls is a growing and evolving league, and men and women 18 years and older are welcome now more than ever to be a part of the close-knit team of officials known as the Herd. As an NSO, you get to work right in the middle of the action, whether it’s timing players in the penalty box, keeping score with the referees, or blowing the whistle to start the next jam.

In addition to working league games, NSOs are required to attend Thursday night scrimmages and regular Herd meetings. Any new recruit will shadow other officials until he or she is comfortable working a specific position. So grab a green shirt, make some nice new friends, and join the heart of Buffalo’s rising roller derby league.
