The Queen City Roller Girls consist of several teams coming in two types. Our travel teams compete against other leagues like ours in other cities and regions around the globe in pursuit of the WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) Championship, while our home teams compete amongst themselves in pursuit of the QCRG Cup Championship. Additionally, we have our skaters in training, our skating and non-skating officials, a Juniors (ages 11-17) league, and our other volunteers.

Travel Teams
  • Lake Effect Furies – Our all-star A-Team, competing at the highest levels of our sport in sanctioned WFTDA play.
  • Subzero Sirens – Our developmental B-Team, competing against (mostly) regional competition.
Home Teams
  • Alley Kats – founded for the 2009 season, winners of the 2017 QCRG Cup Championship.
  • Devil Dollies – one of our 3 original teams, winners of the 2011 and 2016 championships.
  • Saucies – one of our 3 original teams, winners of the 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 championships.
  • Queen’s Court – our boot camp and rookies team.
  • Buffalo Herd – our skating and non-skating officials.
  • Queen City Junior Roller Girls – our Juniors league for ages 11-17. They are members of the JRDA.
  • Nickel City Knockouts – home team currently on hiatus until we can again support 4 home teams; one of our 3 original teams, and winners of the 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 championships.
