Rumors about Lady Deathlock’s origin abound. Does she rise from the world of hardcore metal, or from the depths of comic book culture? No. Instead, Deathlock often found herself sitting in a Victorian English novel, until she was blasted into the future, where all she wanted to do was hit people – over and over again. A woman with a mysterious past, she creeps up on her opposition and pounces with all the energy of a woman repressed by the structure of the corset. In fact, her past is so mysterious, that she may be from outer space. She also loves lasers.
