Bio:
As a little Brownie, she dreamed of the day when she could lead her own pack. She sold cookies with all her might and wished that someday soon she could wear the colors of a leader and rule her own roost. Through her teen years the dream faded but when she married and had her own daughter, her dream was resurrected! She became the Girl Scout Leader she had always wanted to be… but soon, she found herself buried in cookies, fundraisers and paperwork that would never end! But she loved her girls and pressed on. Then, during a field trip to the Rainbow Rink with her flock of girls in tow, she saw a poster for the QCRG and decided she needed another “to do” – so it was added to her list. She signed up for boot camp and even though it had been years since she had been on skates and she felt like she couldn’t walk at the end – she survived and thrived! And she had a new dream just for her – being a derby girl! So now she splits her time between tending to her flock of scouts and then straps on her skates…. now she is Flocking Girl Scout!!
