We’d like to thank all the QCRG members who made this year’s Canal Fest parade exceptional. It was fun despite the heat wave and we’re elated to report that we placed second in the non-musical marching units category. Our Mardi Gras-themed float was accompanied by around 25 skaters who handed out candy and necklaces to the hundreds of kids...
Our own photography intern, Porsche Jones, has helped celebrate derby culture in Buffalo by creating a window display at the Crane Branch of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library. The display integrates some of Porsche's own derby photography with a display of Library items about roller derby. Thanks to the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library for supporting QCRG.
